William Jon DeMoss, 78, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026.
Bill was born July 6, 1947 in Des Moines to William and Mary (Bertin) DeMoss. Bill attended East High School and was a proud East Sider. Bill retired from maintenance at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. He loved riding his Harley Davidson and was an avid fisherman.
Bill was everybody's friend and was always helping people however he could.
Bill is survived by his son, Brian; brother, Dave (Leah), granddaughter, Kayla Marvelli; and one great grandson.
Graveside services will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines on June 8, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
