Wesley Peckham, Sr.

Wesley Ellsworth Peckham Sr. of Des Moines, IA passed away on March 5th, 2025.

He was a dedicated ready-mix and dump truck driver for the last 52 years. Wes enjoyed hunting and fishing, taking care of his family, spending time with friends and telling a story to whoever would listen.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 27 years, Terri; son Brian (Jessica) Schillinger, daughter Connie (Tyler) Ingle, son Wesley Peckham Jr. (Margarita); sister Winnie (Tom) Curtis; sister Sheila Mundell of Eureka, Montana; 5 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents R.J and Geraldine Peckham.

Visitation will be held March 31st, 2025 at Sheridan Park United Methodist 4100 E Sheridan Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317 from 4-7pm. There will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
