Wayne Leonard Schuldt

Wayne Leonard Schuldt passed away at Bishop Drumm Retirement Center on November 30, 2024.

Wayne was born February 2, 1940 in Steger, Illinois the son of William and Marie Schuldt. He married Joyce Bross on May 23, 1964. Wayne graduated from Bloom High School and worked for the USPS as a mail carrier. Wayne loved to be outdoors. He liked to fish and spend time with family in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Wayne's great love was gardening. He would spend hours in his yard every year planting flowers and growing his own vegetables. Wayne received a beautification award from the town of Park Forest and proudly displayed his plaque on the front door of his home. He truly was the happiest when he could put his hand in the dirt and watch his flowers and seeds grow.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Kelly Coluzzi and William Erick Schuldt; grandchildren, R. Mitchell Coluzzi and Grace M Coluzzi; great grandchildren, Cassandra Coluzzi, Lillian Coluzzi and Margaret Coluzzi; and his sister, Elnora Sweeten. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Joseph Charles Schuldt and his siblings, Dorothy Hensley, Richard Schuldt, Elsie Ziems, William Schuldt, Robert Schuldt, and Marlene Holland.
