Vinh Thi Bui

Vinh Thi Bui, 78, of Urbandale, Iowa, passed away on March 27, 2026. She was born February 4, 1948 in Vietnam and later made her home in Iowa, where she built a life centered on family, hard work, and community.

Vinh was a devoted wife to her husband, Luu Bui, with whom she shared many years of marriage. She was a proud and loving mother, and grandmother, whose family meant everything to her.

She is survived by her children:Lan Phuong Bui, David Bui, Nana Bui Corpuz, and Andy Bui; and grandchildren Kai Smith-Bui, Emma Corpuz, and Noah Corpuz and siblings Vien Vu, Long Vu, Quang Vu, Yen Nguyen, Trang Vu, Thanh Vu, Lien Vu, and Loan Vu. She was preceded in death by her parents and sibling, Van Vu.

Vinh worked as a data clerk and dedicated many years of service to her profession. She was also deeply involved in her community, volunteering at the food bank and sharing her time generously with others.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures-gardening, cooking, fishing, dancing, and traveling. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, creating lasting memories with those she loved most. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
