Victoria Lynne Muller

Victoria "Vicky" Lynne Muller, 65, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on June 17, 2026.

Vicky was born on May 25, 1961, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, to Gerald and Margaret Cornish. She was met in Heaven by her parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Her loved ones who will honor her memory in life include her husband, Daniel Friedrich; her daughter, Brandi Muller; her sister, Cindy Cornish; her brothers, Barry (Vickie) and Jonathan (Rochelle) Cornish; her nieces, Sara and Amanda Cornish; her nephews, Michael and Austin Cornish; two great-nieces, Olivia and Margo; two great-nephews, Lane and Beau; and three cats, Velvet, Mittens, and Buttercup.

Vicky lived in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan until the early 1980s when she moved to Des Moines, Iowa to be nearer to family, and she remained there throughout the rest of her life. One of her happiest moments in Des Moines was meeting her husband, Daniel, whom she married in 1998. Together they built a peaceful life, enjoying their home, garden, and pets.

In recent years, Vicky enjoyed a quiet retired life filled with the things she loved most. She found joy in gardening, movies, music, and spending time with her beloved pets. In the months and days before her passing, she was a fan of the TV series Heartland, which features mountains and horses that she found to be beautiful. She had a deep love for animals and nature, and spent many happy hours tending her yard and watching the wildlife out her windows. She also cherished long conversations with family and loved ones.

Vicky will be remembered as a beautiful, hard-working woman with a contagious sense of humor and a fun-loving spirit. She loved her family with all her heart, and as their wife, mother, sister, and best friend, her family will miss her deeply every day. There would never have been a time to say goodbye that wouldn't have been too soon.
