Vickie Lynn Salasberry

Vickie Lynn Salasberry, 72, a beloved mother, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, in her hometown of Des Moines, Iowa. Born on January 18, 1953, Vickie was the cherished daughter of Kenneth Pollock and Betty Northway. She dedicated her life to caring for her family, always finding joy in cooking for them and creating warm, loving memories. Vickie's warm spirit extended to her deep affection for animals, especially her beloved dog, Baby, who brought her immense joy and companionship. She also enjoyed trips to Prairie Meadows. Vickie is survived by her daughter, Angela (Rob) Daniel of Carol Stream, Illinois; her son, Matt (Jennifer) Salasberry; her grandchildren, Benjamin and Joel Daniel; siblings, Martin Northway, Gaylene Rick and Connie Bills. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and laughter, and her family will carry her memory with love. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Gary Bills and Judy Hayes. A memorial service to honor Vickie's life will be September 13, 2025 at 11:00 am, Cumming Community Church, 4225 N Birch Ave, Cumming, IA 50061In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to her family in care of Angie Daniels.
