Trent Clark was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, and spent most of his life in Des Moines, Iowa, where he built his home filled with laughter, love, and friendship.
After earning his GED, Trent pursued a career as a self-employed carpenter, a trade that allowed him to combine his creativity and strong work ethic. His craftsmanship could be seen in the projects he completed, but even more so in the relationships he built along the way.
Trent had an infectious personality and a laugh that could light up any room. He made friends wherever he went and touched countless lives through his kindness and humor. He shared a special bond with his grandmother, whom he admired deeply and who remained a guiding light throughout his life.
Trent was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey Lorraine Clark; his grandfather, Otis Parham; and hisgreat-grandmotherr, Pansy Teller.
He is survived by his four children - Austin Clark of Des Moines, Trenton Foster Clark of Florida, Javalyn Johnson of Des Moines, and Charlotte Clark of Des Moines - as well as his beloved grandmother, Marge Parham, and his girlfriend, Stephanie Kay Coleman. He is also survived by a large extended family who meant the world to him, including his "second mom" Christina Freeman and his extended siblings: Shane Freeman, Wendy Davis, Mindy Macias, and Whitney Freeman.
Trent will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the joy he brought into the lives of those who knew and loved him. Family and Friends are invited to celebrate Trent's life on Monday, February 2nd, 2026, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Lutheran Church of Hope, 925 Jordan Creek Parkway, West Des Moines, IA 50266 A luncheon will follow the funeral.
