Tony Gean Thomas passed away March 6, 2024 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was born February 15, 1951 in Batesville, Mississippi.

As a younger man, Tony enjoyed cruising around in his car in all types of weather. Tony had the gift of conversation and liked watching Court TV, especially Judge Judy. He also enjoyed going to Prospect Park and barbequing. Tony loved spending time with daughter and granddaughter.

Tony is lovingly survived by his wife of 43 years, Sharon Hickem-Thomas, his daughter, Catina Thomas, granddaughter, Caziah Brandon, step daughters, Natina and Sharissa, brothers, James (Ethel) and Terry, sisters, Kathleen and Frieda, as well as many nephews, nieces and friends.
