Thomas Gomez

Thomas Gomez age 82 of Des Moines died on June 15, 2025.

He was born on May 14, 1943. He worked in maintenance for many years for different companies. Thomas loved riding his bike everywhere, and loved his family.

Thomas is survived by his children, Barbara Gomez, Maria (David Romero) Gomez, Thomas Gomez, Jr., Jesse (Heather) Gomez, and Chalet (Charles) Behler. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; siblings, Santiago Gomez, Lupe Gomez, and Alejandro Gomez and many extended family and friends.

Thomas is proceeded in death by his parents, Jesse and Frances Drake; and siblings, Juan Gomez, Helen Gomez, Delores Gomez, Pancho Gomez and Manuel Gomez.

Visitation will be held at Simplify Cremations & Funerals Iowa, Des Moines, IA on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 11 am to 1 pm.
