Thomas Boelling

Thomas Charles Boelling, 69, passed away June 9, 2025.

He was born Friday, February 10, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa to his parents, Ernest and Helen Boelling; and his other siblings, Robert Boelling, James Boelling and Melinda (Boelling) Martin.

Tom attended Jonathan Cattell Elementary School, Warren Harding Junior High School, and Des Moines Technical High School. His core area was computer programming and he graduated in 1974. Tom then went on to attend Des Moines Area Community College.

After graduation Tom worked for Ruan Transport as a data entry clerk. He also enjoyed volunteering at the Iowa State Fair and being a secret shopper. He loved board games such as cribbage and was a lifelong fan of the musical group the Carpenters. He also had a passion for genealogy and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He is survived by his sister, Melinda (Boelling) Martin; a host of nephews, nieces and a few close friends.
