Burial of cremated remains will take place in Wisconsin at a later date.

Thanh was born September 24, 1966, in Vientiane, Laos, the son of Anh and Thick (Lothi) Lovan.

He graduated from Marshalltown High School.

Thanh worked in construction and loved music.
