Terry Lee Wilson

Terry Wilson, 69, passed away peacefully at home on August 22, 2025, in Des Moines, IA. A Celebration of Life will be held 12:00 to 4:00 pm Sunday, August 31, 2025 at the Big Creek Cadet Shelter.

Terry Wilson was born on December 13, 1955 in Waterloo, IA, to George Wilson and Erma Wadley. He served in the U.S. Navy. Terry was an Antique Dealer, hunting for antiques was his passion. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Iowa Hawkeye football and Chicago Cubs baseball games. Terry had a gentle heart and sense of humor that made everyone laugh. He enjoyed fishing day and night. Terry was a proud grandfather and his greatest joy was his grandchildren.

Terry is survived by Debra Wilson - spouse, Debra Wilson - wife, of Des Moines, Jason Wilson, Theresa Wilson, Steffani Merchant, Jill McGinnis and James McGinnis - children; Charlotte King, Annabelle Wilson, Quentin Kinsel, Ethan Conner, Codey Merchant, Marley Merchant, and James McGinnis - grandchildren; Everett Bridgeman, Jim Wilson and Joe Wilson - brothers.

Terry is preceded in death by George Wilson - father, Erma Wadley - mother and Dave Wilson - brother.
