Sarah Ann Brandt

Sarah Ann Brandt, 35, of Des Moines, Iowa entered into God's Kingdom on January 30, 2024. Sarah was the most loving and committed wife, mother, sister and daughter.

Sarah was born August 9, 1988 daughter of David Brandt and Ann Novak in Austin, Texas. She graduated from Southeast Polk High School in 2006 and went on to attend DMACC and Kaplan University. Throughout her life she wore many hats, as a teen working at McDonald's and Adventureland. As an adult, working as a Barista at Starbucks and as a cashier at Hy-Vee.

In July of 2004, Sarah met the love of her life, the man who would stand by her side through thick and thin, Jake. In 2009 she gave birth to their son, Jake Miller Jr. Sarah's biggest joy came from being a mother. She had a contagious and loving smile that could change the entire mood of a room. Sarah enjoyed a good laugh and spending time with her family.

Sarah, a truly great woman, will be forever missed by her family and friends that love her dearly. She is survived by her husband, Jake; son, Jake Jr.; her parents; and her brother, Jeremy. Sarah is preceded in death by her grandparents, Sandy and Willard Brandt and Marilyn and Alan Novak.
