Sandra Michele Mintle

Sandra Michele Mintle, age 80, passed away on October 27, 2026, at Accura HealthCare of South Des Moines in Des Moines, Iowa.

Born in Daytona Beach, Florida, on June 8, 1946, Sandra was the daughter of Robert Jolley and Bonnie McKay. She attended college and enjoyed a long, dedicated 20-year career in accounting and payroll, working with Volusia Hospital and the Daytona Beach Speedway.

Sandra was an avid reader with a particular fondness for crime documentaries. Her true passion was cooking, often preparing beloved family recipes handed down from her grandmother, "Granny". As a "Granny" herself, she cherished creating fun, lasting memories with her grandchildren when they were young.

Sandra is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Vande Stouwe and Kathy Mintle; her brothers, Richard Jolley and Robert Jolley; her grandchildren, Michelle Navarro, Cassidy Jones, Mandy Houghton, Brittany Houghton, and George Randolph; and her great-grandchildren, Matthew Brockington, Owen Puls, Mavis Navarro, and Florence Jones.

Arrangements are being handled by Simplify Cremations & Funerals, with burial to take place at Volusia Memorial Park in Ormond Beach, Florida.
