Roy C. Wolver II (Neal) died peacefully at home on January 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a laborer most of his life. He coached baseball and basketball for his son's teams. He was a fan of
the Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Cubs. He loved fishing, concerts, and spending time
with his grandchildren. He was known as the Baby Whisperer.
He is survived by his wife Karen (Kirkpatrick) of 42 years, sons Chris Wolver (Shannon) of Berwick, IA, son
Neal Wolver (Emma) of Ankeny, IA, daughter Michelle Ruchti (Jammie) of Des Moines, IA, and Heather
Kelly (Nick) of Woodbury, MN, 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, brothers Steve, David,
Mark, and Tim, sisters Linda Thomas and Tami Frayer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Wolver, mother, Patty Wolver, and brother, Denny Wolver.
His family would like to thank you for your thoughts and prayers during his journey. He fought long and
hard; he didn't give up; his body gave up.
