Roxanne Barlow

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roxanne Barlow, who left this world on March 7, 2025, at the age of 62. A native and resident of Des Moines, Roxanne was a beautiful soul whose generosity and kindness knew no bounds. She cared for thousands of animals in her 10 years working at the ARL.

Roxanne was a loving mother and grandmother whose radiant smile could light up any room. She was known for her adventurous spirit and zest for life.

Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved Chihuahua, Paco.

Although Roxanne is no longer with us, her memory will forever live in our hearts.

She is survived by her daughter, Reannan (spouse Joshua); her sons, Trent (spouse Crystal) and Bradley (spouse Kelly); her mother, Patricia; her grandchildren, Gauge, Braley, Corrina; her brothers, Russell and Ronald.

She is preceded in death by her father, Russell Barlow Sr.; and her aunt, Beverly Burgett.

Roxanne wished to not have a funeral but a celebration of life will be held in her honor April 12th at Champs Club and Patio in Des Moines, Iowa. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
