Robert Eugene Shaw

The family of Robert Eugene "Bob" Shaw, aged 60, of Lucas, Iowa, is deeply saddened to announce his sudden passing on July 8th, 2026. He was born in Des Moines on September 25th, 1965 to parents James & Margaret (Rooney) Shaw, the youngest of four boys.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Nicholas of Minneapolis & Tristan of Badger; brothers Bill (Gwen) of Johnston and John (Tracy) of West Des Moines; nieces Tracy (Mike), Erin (Adam), Chelsea (Joe), and Ashlan (Adam); nephew Brendan (Leigh); as well as many cousins, friends, and extended family.

A visitation and memorial service will take place at 10:00am on Friday, July 24th at the St. Mary-Holy Cross Catholic Church in Elkhart.
