Robert L Olwell

Robert "Bobby" Olwell, 59, of Atlantic, Iowa passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2026.

Bobby was a man who understood the weight of life's struggles. Despite the obstacles he faced, his heart always remained rooted in his family. He was a master of many trades and enjoyed spending quiet days fishing on the water or fixing up something in the garage.

He is survived by his mother Diane Dellaca and stepfather Larry Dellaca; his life partner Sonya Bancroft; his brothers Patrick Zarbano, James (Jeannie) Zarbano, Jene Zarbano Rinke, and Keith Zarbano; his sisters Michelle (Tim) Salazar, Jennifer Dellaca, and Alicia Dellaca; his daughters Jessica (David) Steinhoff, Leslie Olwell, Alexis Bancroft, Amanda (Kris) Grashorn; his sons Jonathan Bancroft and Joshua Olwell; thirteen grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Tina Zarbano and grandparents Margaret and Thomas Olwell.

Bobby's memory will live on through the stories shared, the lessons learned, and the many lives he touched throughout the years. He will be remembered and missed by those who knew him. A celebration of life will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 15th at the Littlefield Recreation Area beach shelter in Exira, IA
