Richard Edward Wiese

Richard "Dick" Edward Wiese, age 74, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on July 7, 2026.
Dick was born on December 5, 1951, in Spencer, Iowa, to Richard Edward and Threasa Caroline (Hoffrichter) Wiese.
He served in the US Navy, and after earning his Bachelor's Degree, spent many years working in Architecture and Design.
On December 4, 1971, Dick married the love of his life, Allison Wands. To this union, two children were born, Christopher and Laura.
Dick is survived by his wife, Allison Wiese; son, Christopher (Marisa) Wiese; daughter, Laura Wiese (Marshall James); grandchildren, Adler Wiese, Brady Wiese, Rylan Wiese, Salem Lawhorn and Quinton James; and four siblings.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
