Rhonda Janette Methfessel

Rhonda J Methfessel, age 78, passed away May 26th, 2026.

Rhonda was born on December 6th, 1947 in Des Moines, IA to Howard and Rosalind (Brightman) Foust.

Rhonda graduated from Lincoln High School and married the love of her life, Dale Methfessel on October 12th 1965. Dale and Rhonda went on to have three children, ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Rhonda worked in the banking (Norwest) and medical billing industry (Medical Billing Services) before finding joy in retirement.

Rhonda enjoyed spending time with her family, hosting a Saturday lunch for over 35 years. Rhonda could often be found baking or fixing food, reading the newspaper or enjoying the company of those who stopped by. Above all, Rhonda loved to spend time with family and friends.

Rhonda is survived by her three children, Marnie (Greg) Webb, Eric Methfessel and Todd (Kim) Methfessel. Two sisters, Brenda Mahannah, Sandra (Steve) Garver and two brothers, Stephen (Sharon) Foust and Douglas Foust. Ten grandchildren; Adam, Emily, Ashley (Jake), Katie, Shelby, Wesley, Morgan, Wayne, Marcus and June. Along with eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Rhonda is proceeded in death by her parents, Howard and Rosalind Foust and her husband, Dale Methfessel.

A celebration of life will be held at Dale & Rhonda's family home. Additional details from the family to follow.
