Phyllis Maxine Dumstorff

Phyllis Maxine Dumstorff, 80, passed away suddenly on August 1, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Minburn United Methodist Church.

Phyllis was born to Elsie and Howard Denman on November 14, 1944 in Perry, Iowa. She was very active in the local Minburn Church and choir. Phyllis enjoyed planting flowers, feeding wild birds and was devoted to her cats. She will be greatly missed.

Phyllis is survived by her brother, Harold Denman and sister, Diana Bristol and two nieces and six nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Randy, half sisters, Dorothy Walker, Helen Denman, Gladys Morrison, and Carol Randall and two nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Minburn United Methodist Church, the Animal Rescue League or AHeinz57 Pet Rescue.
