Phyllis Rosemary "Rose" Cronk

Phyllis Rosemary "Rose" Cronk, 76, of Des Moines, IA passed away Monday, July 8, 2024 at Westview of Indianola Care Center in Indianola, IA. A visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 .P.M., Monday, July 15, 2024 at Simplify Cremations & Funerals in Des Moines. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Rose was born on February 25, 1948 to Louis and Phyllis (Grove) Small in Des Moines, IA. She attended East High School in Des Moines. Rose met Richard Cronk at the A&W Car Hop on University in Des Moines. Later, they married on November 19, 1965. To this marriage they were blessed with three daughters. Rose was employed with Dahl's Grocery Store for numerous years in the Bakery department. She co-owned CNC RV with her husband for 23 years in Neveda, IA. You could always find Rose shopping, cooking for all family gatherings and making crafts in her spare time. Rose will be truly missed by friends and family.

Rose is survived by her husband Rich Cronk, of Des Moines, three daughters; Shelly Green of Knoxville, IA, Melissa (Takahito) Mori, of Kyoto, Japan, Kim Rivera of Des Moines, seven grandchildren; Rose, John, Kazuma, Izabel, Freddie, Koji, Richie, 1 great grandson, Wylie, one sister, Shirley, twin brothers, Rick and Russ. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Tom, one sister, Gloria, one step-brother, Jerry.
