Patrick Wayne Dudney, age 67, of Lorimor, Iowa, passed away on June 8, 2026, in Des Moines..

Patrick was born on October 17, 1958, in Iowa to Doyle and Charlene (Strable) Dudney. He grew up in Iowa and built a life centered around family, friendship, and enjoying the simple pleasures that brought him happiness.

Patrick was married to the love of his life, Diana Dudney. Together they shared many years of memories, laughter, and adventures.

He was a man who loved being outdoors and could often be found fishing, camping, or mowing lawns. Patrick enjoyed dancing and was always ready for a good time with family and friends. He loved to party. A devoted fan of country music, he rarely passed up an opportunity to listen to his favorite songs or hit the dance floor. He also enjoyed tinkering with just about anything, always keeping busy with projects and finding ways to fix, improve, or create something with his hands. Patrick's fun-loving spirit, sense of humor, and love of gathering with others made him someone people enjoyed being around.

Above all, Patrick cherished his family. He will be remembered for his warm heart, his love of life, and the many memories he created with those he held dear.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Diana Dudney; his children, Janelle (Jess), Trina, David, Jeff, Kendra, Kimmy, Ashten, Mel, Patience; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Randy (Sandy) and Gary (Jeri Jo); and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Charlene Dudney; his children, Shannon and Tyler; his brothers, Mike, Richard, and Allen; and his maternal grandparents.

Patrick's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
