Nathan Allan Boyce

Jun 26, 1977 — Aug 10, 2026

Nate Boyce - beloved son, Dad, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, bandmate, and friend. Nathan was born on June 26, 1977, and left us far too soon on August 10, 2026 at the age of 49. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we are grateful for the time we were blessed to share with him and for the incredible impact he had on so many lives.

Nate was the cherished son of Thomas Boyce and Sandra Chambers. From an early age, he possessed a larger-than-life personality that could fill any room. He was funny, caring, boisterous, and a natural-born leader. If something was broken, Nate could fix it. His passion for life was evident in everything he did and those fortunate enough to know him experienced firsthand the kindness and loyalty that defined him.

Nate never lost the wonder of being a kid at heart. From the time he was young, he was an avid Batman fan and that love stayed with him throughout his life. He also found comfort and joy in the simple things, especially watching Batman, The Andy Griffith Show, and MASH.

Music was the heartbeat of Nate's soul. A gifted songwriter, self-taught guitarist, and charismatic front man, he shared his talent freely with the world. Through every song he wrote and every performance he gave, Nate connected with people in a way few can. His music brought joy, comfort, and inspiration, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who heard it. His legacy will continue to live on through the melodies he created and the memories he made with his bandmates and countless fans.

Above all, Nate loved his family. He leaves behind his beloved children, Jagger, Aliyah (Caleb), and Zakk, who were a source of immense pride and love. He is also survived by the moms of his children, Angie and Jessica, his brothers, Nick (Jenny) Boyce and Darin Rumley; his sisters, Christy Boyce-Adair (Jeremy), Suzanne (Rodney) Thoms, Johnda Boyce, and Dorica Rumley; along with his aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, bandmates, and a host of dear friends whose lives were forever enriched by knowing him.

Nate's absence leaves an immeasurable void, but his spirit will never be forgotten. We will remember his infectious laugh, his enormous heart, and his incredible talent. We will remember his willingness to lend a hand, his passion for music, and the unforgettable presence he brought wherever he went.

As we say goodbye, let us not only mourn Nate's passing but also celebrate the remarkable life he lived. May we honor him by carrying forward his generosity, his passion, and his love for others. Though he is no longer with us in person, his music, his memories, and his spirit will remain with us always.
