Miner Elwood Brown

Miner Elwood Brown passed away peacefully at home on April 20, 2024. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Woody was born to Clifford and Sadie Brown on January 13, 1944 in Des Moines, Iowa.  Woody enjoyed playing the guitar in church, fishing, working on cars, remodeling his home, and spending time with family.

Woody is survived by his loving wife, Edna; children,Edna (David) Gibson, Regina (Eric) Sandahl, Thomas (Faith) Brown, Miner Brown and Scott (Alicia) Brown; grandchildren, Steven, Danielle, David, Sarah, Adam, Clarence, Regina, Thomas, Barbara, Skylar, Jonathan, Mariah, Kiya, Xavier and Amyus; 22 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; siblings, Carroll Brown, Verlin Brown, Ardyis Routh, Clifford Brown and Valletta Bancroft. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Elwood Brown and brother Paul Brown.
