Michael Earl Paul

November 25, 1957 — January 14, 2025

Michael Earl Paul, son of Cleland Carl Paul and Gloria Winifred (Love) Paul was born November 25, 1957 in Corning, IA, and passed beyond this earthly realm to his home with his Lord and Savior on January 14, 2025.

Mike graduated from Corning High School in 1976 after participating in many school activities including football and wrestling. He was even an escort for Homecoming Queens. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandfather breaking horses.

Mike made his home in Creston, IA after spending several years planting trees from Louisiana to South Carolina. He always said this was the job he enjoyed more than any other. After this, he spent a number of years working on a farm for and with Tom McCann. When Mike was a teen, he was diagnosed with a kidney disease and became the recipient of a kidney transplant in his 30's. He was forever grateful for this gift. Some of Mike's hobbies included coon hunting with his father "Squirt" and grandfather, Ernest Love. He enjoyed life to the fullest, spending several years figure 8 racing along with nephews who also enjoyed the sport. He loved NASCAR, favoring Dale Ernhardt Jr. He also enjoyed fishing and following his nephews' wrestling careers. He was nuts for the Kansas City Chiefs and cheered them on more than any other team.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Pamela Morrison, brother-in-law, Larry Morrison and nephew, Shawn Cox. He is survived by his sister, Susan Delap (husband Darrell) of Grain Valley, MO, many nieces

and nephews and an abundance of close friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held in April with the date and time announced in the Creston News Advertiser.
