Michael "Mike" N. Hanna

Michael N. Hanna, 76, of Colfax, died Monday, October 2, 2023, at his home in Colfax.

Per Mike's wishes, there will be no formal services.

Mike was born May 23, 1947, in Des Moines, IA, the son of Vern Norman and Mary Ruth (Hartnett) Hanna.

He worked as a welder for the Monroe Company for 34 years.  Mike then went to work for the Jasper County Congregate Meals, retiring on December 2, 2022.  He really enjoyed delivering meals and visiting with the people on deliveries.  After retirement, Mike enjoyed visiting with people, before lunch, at the Senior Center.

Survivors include his niece, Liz Jones; nephew, Jason Hanna; cousin, Katy Damon and many family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Barbara.
