Michael Ray Edgington

Michael Ray Edgington, 64, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away on August 31, 2026 at his home.

Michael was born on May 6, 1962 in Des Moines, Iowa at Lutheran Hospital the son of Alice Keller Reese and Donald Edgington. Michael graduated from Sadel High School. After school he worked in AutoBody for most of his life until he retired in 2023.

Michael loved to cook especially on the smoker, playing pool, listening to music and being with his family. He always had the best sense of humor that would leave you laughing days later.

Michael is survived by the love of his life, Tracy Steele, of 27 years together.

His brother, Jason Edgington and niece, Autumn.

He is preceded in death by his mom, Alice Keller Reese; his step-dad, Butch Reese; and his father, Donald Edgington.

You were the love of her life and best friend,
