Mayra Alvarado-Martinez, 46, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2022. She was born on July 9, 1976, in El Plan, Honduras to Reynaldo Romero and Lucina Martinez. Mayra loved her husband Juan, and daughter, Victoria more than words could say.
Mayra is survived by her loving husband, Juan Quintero; daughter, Victoria Quintero; parents, Reynaldo Romero, and Lucina Martinez; sisters, Cristina Izabel Alvarado, Reyna Ziomara Alvarado, Elsy Lorena Alvarado, and Dunia Marleny Alvarado; brothers, Delvin Reynaldo Alvarado, and Josue Efrain Alvarado; cousin, Manuel Banegas; and many other friends and relatives.
A funeral service for Mayra will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Simplify Cremations & Funerals 4821 SW 9th Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50315. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of Mayra Alvarado-Martinez.
