Mary Ann O'Gorman

Mary Ann O'Gorman of Des Moines passed away at Mercy Hospice House Johnston, Iowa on February 19, 2023 at the age of 82.

Mary Ann was born June 30, 1940 to Richard and Frieda O'Gorman in St. Louis, MO.  The family relocated to California around 1944 to 1945 where she attended school and graduated from Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, California in 1958.   Mary Ann relocated to Iowa in 1964 and worked for both the Ramada Inn and Best Western Inn for 25 plus years.  Mary Ann enjoyed crafts, painting, puzzles and family time.

Mary Ann is survived by her brother Jeremiah (Jerry) sister Rosemarie Duran and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Frieda O'Gorman, brothers Richard, Daniel, Joseph (Burt), James and Thomas, sister Kathleen Klapperrich, three nephews and a niece.
