Marvin Charles Schneider

Marvin Charles Schneider passed away on March 5th, 2026, at the age of 79. Marvin was born on September 9th, 1946, in Iowa Falls to Charles and Elizabeth (Haywood) Schneider, and was a resident of West Des Moines, Iowa.

Marvin grew up and spent most of his life living in West Des Moines, Iowa. He worked for Meredith and R.R. Donnelly Publishing. Marvin loved sports. He coached softball, baseball, and basketball.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Charlene (Metheny) Schneider of 61 years; his children, Debbie Kigar (Chuck), Susan Rynerson (Joe) and Pamela Hull (Lawrence); Daughter in law, Helen Schneider; grandchildren, Lindsey Beauregard (Josh), Matthew Hull, Jessica Hull (Andy), Jacob Hull (Nicolle), Brandon Hull, Cordie Kigar (Megan); 13 great grandchildren; sister, Ann Garcia; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, John Schneider; and brother, Terry Schneider.
