Marsanna Lynn Mckeehan

Marsanna was born in Des Moines on September 5th, 1961 to Diona and Virgil Burks Sr. She passed away peacefully at her home while surrounded by her children and family on June 4th, 2023.

She was proceeded in death by her father, Virgil Burks Sr. Her brother Virgil Burks Jr. Her daughter Melissa McKeehan, son Rusty McKeehan, and son Colby Wyant.

She leaves behind her 4 children, Ronny McKeehan, and loving daughter in law Tara McKeehan, RayAnna Wyant, R.Jay Wyant and Emily Wyant. As well as her beloved 9 grandchildren Rusty McKeehan, Jordan Robinson, Emma McKeehan, Sofia McKeehan, Brooklyn Ziebell, Izabella Ziebell, King Ziebell and Hudson Millard.

Marsanna worked for over 20 years as a medical manufacturer at Katecho but in her downtime she enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grandkids, cooking elaborate meals, and planting her flowers. Despite her long 12 hour work days she never failed to take an evening drive with her granddaughter Emma and her very spoiled German Shepard, Michael.

She had a very close relationship with her sisters and mother and loved to brag about how much alike her and her mother Diona were and that her sister (also) Diona was a nurse. She never missed an opportunity to spoil her grandchildren and give them every ounce of her attention, they never wanted for anything when in grandma's presence.

In Marsanna's younger days she was a homemaker who enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband Raymond when not tending to the home.
