Marcella Lucille Green

Marcella Lucille Green, daughter to Viola Grace Howe & George Woodrow Watkins was born January 18th 1941 & passed from this life on February 3rd 2026 at her home surrounded by family at the age of 85. She received her early education at the Redwing school house and graduated Clarke High School in 1959. Later in life she graduated SWICC with her degree in auto body repair in 1988.
Marcella always enjoyed trucks the faster and louder the better and going to harley rides with her boys. She quickly became Ma to all of the neighborhood children because she believed no child should go hungry or without a warm place to sleep. She was know to open her home up as a no questions asked home for many a wayward teen. Marcella was an avid fisher and could often be found at the family pond looking for her next monster catfish. She was also a lover of great music and while Elvis was her true king, country music spoke to her soul. ( Usually with a cold beer in hand.)
When she was at home you could find her in the kitchen either cooking up something delicious or sitting at her table with a romance book in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. Marcella was an outstanding cook. She cooked for years at the Osceola Leisure Manor & for 13 years at Lakeside Casino. She was famous for her beef & noodles, her Harriet soup, and cinnamon rolls. (Minus the one time with the lemon furniture spray.)
In her later years Marcella enjoyed just being outdoors with her cats and dogs or drinking coffee with the neighbor gals. She also enjoyed walking the aisles at mendards looking for her next solar light.
Marcella was proceeded in death by; her mother Grace, father George, brothers Donald & Ronald, sister Deloris, daughter Rhonda, sons Ronnie & John, grandsons Coty & Harley, great grandsons Michael & Niklaus, and her best friend Joyce. As well as many other close family & friends. Marcella leaves to cherish her memory; Sons Rodney (Angie), Robbie (Carrie), Butch (LaDeena), daughter Kimmi Sue (Danny), grandchildren Danette, Freedom, Shasta, Bonnie, Cody, Mike, Dalton, Emily, Alica, Jessie and Trisha, 26 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. As well as many other close family & friends
