Lyndal Lee Ruby

Lyndal (Lynny) Lee Ruby passed away unexpectedly on February 23, 2024 at the age of 23 in Des Moines. He was born in Des Moines to Mark and Tammy Ruby on February 24, 2000. His celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

Lynny has been installing flooring since he was 16 years old with his dad and brothers. He had many hobbies, some of which are hunting with his Dad and family, fishing, camping, swimming, floating down the river and video games. He loved Halloween and dressing up as Michael Myers all throughout the year. During family events, all the kids thought Lynny was their personal wrestling buddy. Although he was the baby brother, he was the one that could light up any room with his contagious smile, laughter and his silly personality.

Lynny is survived by his parents Mark and Tammy Ruby, son Knox, dog Opie, grandparents Jerry and Sharon Virden, siblings Monica Murray, Mikey Ruby, Marky (Danielle) Ruby, Tootsie (Curt) Jamison, Casey (BreAnna) Ruby, Tricia (Danny) McGrew, Billy Ruby, Lizzie (Trevor) McGee, Gloria Ruby, Aiden Stevenson, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other family members.

Lynny is preceded in death by Mike Ruby Sr. his biological father, grandparents Lyndal and Gloria Ruby, Aunt Sue and Uncle Lynny.
