Lloyd Sidney Hartman

Lloyd Sidney Hartman, born on September 18, 1955 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Lucille "Dolly " Hewitt and Likel Joseph Hartman.

Lloyd passed on April 29, 2025 at 69 years, at the Wesley Life Cottage (Utreck) in Pella, IA.

Lloyd attended school at North Mahaska in New Sharon, IA and graduated in 1973. He went to Indian Hills College and studied auto body.

Lloyd enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, family and life in general.

Lloyds first had a relationship with Candace Kallenberger, and had two children, Sherry Grife (Mike) of Barned City, IA, and Bambi Brown of Woodstock, GA. He also helped care for Candaces daughter, Annette Weitl of Burlington, IA during this time.

In November of 1995, Lloyd married Marlena Freeman. Together they had Valerie Long of Des Moines, Stephanie Hartman of Des Moines, and Travis Hartman of Des Moines; and care for his step children, Emma Stover and Amanda Davis also of Des Moines. Lloyd had 20 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Barb (Gene) Davis of Barnes City, and lots of nieces and nephews.

Lloyd was proceded in death by his sisters, JoAnne Moore, Penny Hartman, Linda Beason; brother, Likel Joseph Hartman Jr. Dickerson; and parents, Likel Joseph Hartman and Lucille "Dolly" Hartman.
