Leif Widlund

Leif Widlund, 62, passed away on January 1, 2026, in Norwalk, IA.

Leif Widlund was born on October 20, 1963 in Des Moines, IA, to Marvin Widlund and Janet Meek.He loved working on and riding his motorcycle whenever he could. Fishing in Okoboji and Lakewood with his brother Don, his sister and brother in law Diane and Jeff, daughter Megen and niece Jesickah was one of his favorite ways to spend a summer day. Leif was a big music fan mostly classic rock but occasionally liked the newer age rock. He enjoyed attending sprint car races with his family and best friend Mike Heuton. He was a big sports fan including NASCAR, Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks and Minnesota Vikings. Leif enjoyed spending time with family and friends and enjoyed watching his grandson run and play in the yard. His hobbies included building models in his spare time, taking care of his yard that he was very proud of, and he enjoyed an occasional video game. He is survived by his nieces and nephews Jesickah Bills and Craig Miles Jr, and Jestin and Ryann Bills.

In lieu of a ceremony there will be a celebration of life
