Larry Keith Fredregill, 77, of Runnells, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 4:00 - 6:45 PM at the Runnells Community Center with a short graveside service at 7:00 PM at Warren-Powers Cemetery in Runnells.

Larry was born on August 4, 1946, the son of Keith and Vera Fredregill, the first of six children. He married Janet Marie Chapman on September 21, 1963. As an accomplished brick mason he worked on many of the brick buildings in central Iowa and Des Moines proper, including the Iowa State capitol building. He was an outdoor enthusiast and could always be found in his garden, on his fishing boat or hunting the local timbers. He is remembered for his generous heart, sharp one liners and ability to fix just about anything.

He is survived by his wife, Janet; children, Brenda (John) Carpenter and Dan (Diane) Fredregill, as well as three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jerry Fredregill.
