Kylie Jolene Doran

Apr 19, 2002 — Oct 1, 2026

Kylie Jolene Doran, 24, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on October 1, 2026. She was born on April 19, 2002, in Newton, Iowa, and attended Newton High School.

Kylie worked in a variety of roles throughout her young life, including as a cashier, sandwich maker, and assembler. She worked for Newton 66, McDonald's, Subway, and KATECHO.

Kylie had a beautiful and caring heart and often cared for the people she loved more than she did for herself. Family and friends meant everything to her, and she loved spending time with them, laughing, having fun, and simply living in the moment. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a genuine smile that reflected the warmth she brought to those around her.

An animal lover through and through, Kylie had a special place in her heart for creatures of all kinds. She enjoyed feeding wildlife and helping hungry animals, but she especially loved her cats. Kylie also enjoyed shopping, doing her hair and makeup-a talent she was particularly good at-and playing video games.

Above all else, Kylie's greatest love was her four-year-old son, Linkin Waters. Her family shared that Kylie loved Linkin "so very much" and that he was her entire world.

Kylie is survived by her beloved son, Linkin; her parents, Justin Paul Doran and Patti Jolene Doran; her sister, Kortney Doran; her brother-in-law, Josh Biondi; her nephew, Oliver Biondi, whom Kylie adored; and her grandfather, Rod Savage. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ella Savage, Leonard Savage, Diana Purvis, Paul F Doran and Michelle Hadden.

Though Kylie's life was far too short, the love she gave was immeasurable. She will be remembered for her caring heart, her sense of humor, her love for animals, her beautiful and genuine smile, and the laughter she shared so freely with family and friends.

Most of all, Kylie will be remembered as a mother who wholeheartedly loved her son and her family. The joy, laughter, and love she brought into their lives will remain with them always. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life in the very near future. Patti will make the announcement soon.
