Khrystyna Ann Patterson

Khrystyna Patterson, 57, passed away April 6, 2025.

Khrystyna was born November 25, 1967 the daughter of Gerald and Beverly Patterson in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from Hoover High School in 1986 and then attended Iowa State University. She enjoyed shopping, taking care of her plants, playing with her cat, Kitty, strolling downtown with her grandchildren, and recreational meditation.

Khrystyna was fearless, she didn't let her disabilities hold her back for anything. She always did what she wanted. She had a strong will, and a hard head. Khrystyna always did her own thing and lived her truth. She loved and forgave unconditionally. She could have a good time with anyone and anywhere.

Khrystyna is survived by her mother Beverly; children, Kamylle (Jose Luis Parade Rivera) Patterson of Bondurant, James "Jimmy" (Cassandra) Patterson of Denver, CO, and Josh Patterson of Des Moines; her life companion, James Collier; her siblings, Laura (Mike) Leeper of Des Moines, Chad (Cherene) Patterson of Indianola and Brenda (Ismael) Ramirez of Des Moines; grandchildren, Liam, Aurelia, Elianna, Caélia, Zaylen, Emery, Denver, Weslynn and Arianna; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory. She is preceded in death by her father, Gerald.
