Kevin Carl Power

Kevin Power passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 68 in Des Moines, IA. Born on July 13, 1956, Kevin devoted over 25 years of his career to Mid American Energy where he made many friends. Kevin's life was rich with activities; he had a passion for various sports, including golfing, bowling, fishing, baseball, softball, basketball, football, and walking with Ollie and friends at the dog park. These hobbies not only illustrated his love for sports but also his desire to stay active and enjoy time with his friends and family.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife Roxane; son Matthew; daughter Kelly Murtle (Darin); grandsons Trenton and Miles Murtle; and sister Pam Humble. He was preceded in death by his father George, mother Virginia; and sisters, Sandra Menter and Sharon Bayte. Kevin will be remembered for his dedication to his family, friends, and the joy he found in his hobbies.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and zest for life that will not be forgotten. A celebration of Kevin's life will be held at a later date.
