Kenneth Leroy Helton

Kenneth Helton, 61, of Des Moines, IA passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, after a long battle of cancer.

Born in Des Moines, he was a loving father, grandfather, husband and brother. He made everyone laugh, smile and feel right at home. He worked hard every single day as a chef. A career in which he excelled and loved. Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Jay Llyod Helton, his mother, Luanne Kathryn Helton, his brothers, David Helton and Jay Helton. He is survived by his children, Michael (Heather) Helton, Lacy Helton, Julleen (Matthew Daniel) Helton, and Antonia Frevola, and grandchildren, Ayden, Lane (Maria), Ryanne, Landyn, Shyanne, Sydnee, and Liam, and Matthew, and his brothers, Kevin (Joshua) Helton, and Llyod (Gloria) Helton and his wife, Lucille Helton. Many neices, nephews, cousins and others he thought of as family.

A celebration of life was held as he wanted to be present in 2023. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Helton Family can be made to.....(we can do whatever you guys wish)
