Kaye Clark

March 4, 1950 — September 4, 2023

Kaye Clark, born on March 4, 1950, in Elma, Iowa, to Aolis and Margaret (Kroll) Pecinovsky, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2023.

Kaye's journey began in the small town of Elma, where she spent her childhood years. She graduated from Creston High School in 1968. Kaye attended Allen School Nursing in Waterloo, where she earned her RN degree in 1970.

During her time in nursing school, Kaye crossed paths with the love of her life, Francis "Frank" Clark. Their love story blossomed, leading them to unite in marriage on November 7, 1971. Together, they embarked on a journey filled with love, laughter, and companionship.

Kaye and Frank initially settled in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, where Kaye dedicated herself to her nursing career at Gundersen Clinic for a year. Eventually, they decided to return to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to start their family. Their union blessed them with two wonderful children, Adam and Jeremy.

In 1977, the family made their home in Polk City, Iowa, after moving to Des Moines. Kaye continued her career in nursing, working diligently at various area hospitals and making a positive impact on the lives of countless patients.

Outside of her nursing profession, Kaye had a deep love for reading, sewing, and 50's music. These interests brought her joy and allowed her to express her creativity and passion.

Kaye is survived by her devoted husband, Frank; her sons, Adam and his son and daughter, Sloane and Miles; Jeremy (Amy), and their daughter, Izzy; sister-in-law, Snow Pecinovsky and nephews Larry and Jimmy.

Kaye was preceded in death by her parents, Aolis and Margaret Pecinovsky, and her brother, Wayne.
