Kara Lianne Floden-Witt

It is with many broken hearts that we announce the passing of Kara Floden Witt, who left us unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the age of 51.

Kara was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was someone whose presence brought meaning to the lives of those around her. Kara will be remembered for her kindness, strength, caring heart, and the love she so freely shared with the people who mattered most to her. Her life touched more people than she may have ever realized, and her absence will be deeply felt.

Kara found joy in the simple things that made life special. She loved thrift shopping, finding those unexpected treasures and bringing home something she couldn't resist. She enjoyed nail painting and found a way to DIY pretty much anything. One of her most cherished companions was her dog, Leia, who brought her comfort, companionship, and unconditional love.

Kara leaves behind her two daughters, Kayla Witt and Alyx Witt. She is also survived by her mother, Diana Floden; her brother, David Floden; her niece and nephew, Hailey and Evan Floden; her beloved dog, Leia; as well as extended family and dear friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

Kara was preceded in death by her father, Richard Floden.

Although Kara's time with us was cut short, the moments she shared with the people she loved will remain treasured. Her laughter, her strength, her kindness, and all the little things that made her uniquely Kara, will continue to live on through the people who knew her best.

Her place in this world cannot be filled, but the imprint she left behind will remain a part of her family and friends forever. Until we meet again, Kara. You will always be loved, always be remembered, and forever be missed.
