We are celebrating the life of June Margaret Bradley today on this Christmas Eve Service on December 24, 2024.

June passed to be with our Lord on December 16, 2024. She is joined in Heaven with her husband, mother, father and sisters along with other family members that have preceded her.

June was born on June 17, 1932, in Surrey, England, to her mother, Violet Priscella Griffths and her father, James Jamieson Ross. She was known as "Jean" while she grew up in England. She had two sisters, Mavis Edwards and Joyce Elvy.

June grew up during WWII in England and later joined the military. She became a Colonel in the British military and had very high ranks. June and David (Scotty) met at a hot dog stand in their young years in Europe while both enrolled in the British military. They fell in love immediately and were married for over 50 years. June was known as "Jean" in the UK and David was known as "Sonny" and they did many things for all of the family while in the UK before coming to the US. They will be missed by so many.

June married her husband, David Bradley II, on January 2 and together they had three sons, David, John, and Jeffrey (and her nephew, Malcom Elvy was like a fourth son to her). June's sister, Joyce, lived just several houses down from her and Scotty. Joyce's children, Malcom and Gillian, were like June's own children as were June and Scotty's three boys, to Auntie Joyce.

June was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, auntie, and friend to all. she would always welcome anyone into her home for a "wee cup of tea".

She worked almost her entire life. She was production manager for many years at Technicolor in Los Angeles, California. She drove a beautiful silver corvette and she was one hot lady to tango with in those days. She kept Scotty on his toes as he worked all his life having his own wallpaper company.

They moved to California after their first two sons, David and John, were born overseas. Jeffrey was born in the US. They had such wonderful memories and times together in their beautiful home in Westminster, California.

After June's husband, David aka "Scotty" passed in 2005, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, and then to De Doto, Iowa, where she later passed on to our Lord in assisted living at The Bridges in Ankeny, Iowa.

June was so kind and loved by many. All of the family will miss her on this earth but know that we will be together again one day.

June and David (Scotty) leave behind a son, Jeffrey and wife Joanne, grandsons, Nicolas, Joey, and Danny, and great grandchildren, Sienna and Zion; a son, John and wife Mary, and grandchildren, Courtney and Justin, Kaitlynn and Brandon, and Britney and Robert, great grandchildren, Lucas, Dawson, Eva, Elena, Brantley, Jacob, Nolan, Lilly, and Wyatt; and son, david and diane, grandchildren, Garrett and Kylie, Justin, and Brandon and Amber, and great grandchildren, Aria, Blake, Alena, and Eliott.

The family wishes to send out a gracious thank you to their cousins Liz and John Carswell that live in Scotland that are helping with June's internment in the cemetery next to her beloved husband, David "Scotty" Bradley.
