Judy Waters, 74, passed away at her home surrounded by family on August 13, 2025, in Des Moines, IA.

Judy Waters was born on January 8, 1951 in Des Moines, IA, to William March and Nellie March. She worked for many years at Crest Group Home before staying home to take care of her grandchildren.

Judy was best known for being the matriarch of the family. She loved animals and being outdoors. You could always find her feeding the squirrels, or stray animals. Judy's passion was her family, and she loved being there for them in every way possible.

Judy is survived by spouse - Sam Waters. Children - Mikalene Clark, Julie VanZee, and Larry (Janeen) Marchant. Grandchildren - Tiffany (Sean) Gourd, Aaron (Cherokee) Waters, and Bryan (Audra) Waters. Siblings - Sandy Jacobs and Kathy (Bob) Wolk and 15 great grandchildren.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents. Siblings - Bill and Paul March. Son-in-law - James Clark. Stepson - Kyle Wanamaker and Grandson - Jesse Johnston
