Joyce Lorraine Sego, age 89, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2026, at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines. Born on October 16, 1937, in Fairmont, Minnesota, Joyce was the cherished daughter of Ray Darmer and Viola Senny.

A dedicated and compassionate caregiver, Joyce devoted many years of her professional life to serving others as a Certified Medication Aide. Her commitment to providing thoughtful, diligent care left a lasting impact on those she served. She also worked faithfully for 15 years as a mail clerk, demonstrating a strong work ethic and unwavering reliability throughout her career. Joyce completed her high school education and remained a lifelong learner with a heart for community and family.

She is reunited in rest with her beloved husband, she leaves behind a legacy of strength, warmth, and enduring care. Her memory will be forever treasured by her family, neighbors, and friends who were blessed by her presence.
