Joel Edward Boelling

Joel Boelling, 48 passed away on July 25,2025, in Chariton IA.

Joel is survived by Michelle, spouse, children, Landre and Lauren stepmother Karen Boelling and a host of extended family and friends.

Joel graduated from Lincoln High School in Des Moines IA, in 1995. After high school he continued his education at ISU to study Engineering. He then started his career as a Heavy Equipment Operator with the Local 234.

In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his children, dirt track racing, hunting and being out in nature.

Joel is proceeded in death by his father, James Boelling and mother-in-law Debbie Roberts as well as several extended family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday August 1, 2025, at the Fraternal Orders of Eagles, 6567 Bloomfield Rd Des Moines IA, 50315 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm with a short memorial service at 1:30 pm.

The family would like to extend their gratitude for all the love and support during this time.
