Jerry Roberts

Jerry Dennis Roberts passed away peacefully at home on January 10, 2025 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. February 22, 2025 at First Church of God, 4201 E Douglas Avenue in Des Moines.

Jerry was born July 12, 1940 the son of Glen and Gretchen Roberts in Guthrie Center, Iowa. He graduated from Guthrie Center High School. Jerry worked as a sales associate at Circle B in Perry and then at Menards from January 28, 1986 to September 30, 2022. He married Marilyn Roberts on June 5, 1988. Jerry enjoyed church activities and his bowling leagues. He was kind hearted, patient and will be missed by many friends and family.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Marilyn, his sons, Michael (Bridget) Roberts and Mark Roberts; grandchildren, Emma, Kelcie, Devin and Haley; step son Shawn (Laura) Manson and grandsons, Cade and Roman. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Connie Corwin Roberts and his parents and brother, Dayton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to First Church of God, 4201 E Douglas Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa 50317.
