Jeffrey Wayne Herselius, 65, of Waukee, Iowa, passed away on October 10, 2022.

Celebration of Life Luncheon to be held at Lutheran Church of Hope , 925 Jordan Creek Pkwy, West Des Moines, IA, on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM.

Jeffrey was born on March 2, 1957 to Lorraine Smith and Donald Herselius in Des Moines.

Jeffrey was a loving brother, father, and grandfather.  He loved music, dancing, and helping others. He spent a large portion of his life on the road as a truck driver where he found immense joy.  Some of his favorite past-times were going bowling with family and friends and watching his son, Jeremy, compete in recreational softball.  There was never a time when he didn't have the biggest smile on his face and pass that happiness on to others.

He is survived by two sons Jason Herselius (Armstrong, IA) and Jeremy Herselius (West Des Moines, IA); two grandchildren Jaxson and Tatum Herselius (West Des Moines, IA); his sisters, Barbara (Gurnea) Salazar (Ankeny, IA) and Sharon (Gurnea) Hallin (Clive, IA) and two brothers, Doug Herselius (Des Moines, IA) and Richard Gurnea (Florida)

Jeffrey was predeceased by mother, Lorraine Smith; father, Donald Herselius; brother, Robert Gurnea, and son Joshua Herselius.
