Jean Margaret Twelmeyer

Jean Margaret Twelmeyer passed away on April 4, 2026, at Carlisle Nursing Home in Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of 84.

Jean was born on March 3, 1942, in Palmer, Iowa, to Eldora and Ray Weber. She later moved to Des Moines, where she met the love of her life, Russ Twelmeyer. The two were married for 57 years and shared a devoted life together..

Jean was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sons, Dan (Chico) Twelmeyer and Kirk (Paula) Twelmeyer; five grandchildren, Lauren, Grace, Peyton, Brett, and Kyle; and her brother, Jon (Mary) Weber.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldora and Ray Weber; her husband, Russ Twelmeyer; and her sister, Jan Kramer. Her deep faith in Jesus guided her life, and she now rests in heaven alongside beloved family and friends who preceded her.

The family will hold a private burial in May.
